Wedding Music Policy

1. It is the policy of St. Joseph Shrine that all wedding music is performed exclusively by Shrine staff organists and choral ensembles. Outside musicians and vocalists are not permitted to perform. All arrangements are made through the Director of Music.

2. All music fees are remitted to the Detroit Sacred Music Foundation, which arranges payment to the musicians and retains a portion to fund ongoing choir loft improvements, programming, and special events. Payment must be received before the Nuptial Music Agreement can be signed.

3. Weddings are not solemnized during Advent, Lent, November 2–3, or the day before Pentecost. Please confirm your date with the Rector before beginning music coordination.
